The Kingdom is distinguished as the best international bond issuer in Africa, the 2nd best issuer in the “Emerging Markets” category and the best international financial market manager in the Africa region. According to a press release from the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Administrative Reform, these distinctions confirm the remarkable success of the bond issued by Morocco on December 8, 2020, which marked the return of our country to the dollar compartment after an absence of 7 years. The document recalls that “this issue, which involved a volume of 3 billion dollars, was a great success among international investors with an order book that exceeded 13.5 billion dollars, thus recording an oversubscription rate of more than 4 times, which made it possible to leave with very favorable financing conditions”.
