Meeting in session on May 27, 2021, the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Stock Exchanges (WFE) approved the application for admission of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) as a member of the Federation. Thus, the BRVM is now a full member of the WFE.

The BRVM thus joins eight other African stock exchanges. This admission crowns the efforts of the UEMOA stock exchange to pass the various stages in order to obtain the quality of member of the most representative organization of stock exchanges throughout the world. With this admission, the BRVM will participate as of right in the activities of the Federation, in particular conferences, annual meetings, general assemblies and working commissions to examine major issues related to the development of capital markets around the world.
