The actors of the Coalition of Anti-Corruption Civil Society Organizations (COSCAC) organized a press briefing this Saturday at the National Museum in the commune of Lingwala in Kinshasa. States General to bring together all state and non-state actors with a view to adopting strategies likely to fight against corruption to which the President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi has attached great importance since taking office. This is the wish of civil society.
The actors of the COSCAC believe that it will be a question during these general meetings of updating the policy of the fight against corruption, of developing its strategic plan which sets the effective mechanisms for the fight against corruption.
In addition, the latter asked the government to table in Parliament as soon as possible the draft law on the protection of whistleblowers, to establish a toll-free number entitled "Yebela corruption" which will be used to report cases of corruption. and secure all whistleblowers.
