Regional consultation as part of the implementation of the Financial Services Interoperability Project

The Central Bank is organizing, from September 30 to October 3, 2019, in Dakar, a regional consultation in
as part of the implementation of the Digital Financial Services Interoperability Project in WAEMU,
at the Headquarters of the Central Bank of West African States.
This meeting aims to validate the deployment plan of the interoperable regional platform as well as
the adoption of the roadmap for each actor.
It will bring together nearly 90 participants from the BCEAO , States, Banks and
Decentralized Financial Systems, Telecommunications Regulatory Authorities, Establishments
Electronic Money (EME), GIM-UEMOA, the African Development Bank (AfDB), the
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
