At the end of the trading day on Friday, May 7, 2021, the market capitalization of the stock market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) was boosted by 78.563 billion FCFA.

The market capitalization of the BRVM was indeed established at 4640.005 billion FCFA against 4561.442 billion FCFA the day before, an increase of 1.72%. This rise was favored by that of the indices. The BRVM Composite index (the general stock market index) thus gained 1.72% to 154.18 points against 151.57 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 10 index (the index of the 10 flagship stocks of the Stock Exchange) gained 1.36% to 133.12 points against 131.33 points the day before.
The market capitalization of the bond market remained stationary at 6298.926 billion FCFA. The total value of transactions stood at 928.024 million FCFA against 686.287 million FCFA the day before, an increase of 241.737 million.
