At the end of the trading session of this Monday, May 03, 2021, the market capitalization of the stock market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded an increase of 12.338 billion FCFA.

Market capitalization stood at 4,537.774 billion FCFA against 4,525.436 billion FCFA the day before. That of the bond market recorded a drop of 1.768 billion FCFA, standing at 6299.650 billion FCFA against 6301.418 billion FCFA during the previous trading session.
As for the indices, the situation was contrasted compared to the previous session. The BRVM 10 index fell from 130.16 points the day before to 129.81 points on Monday, a decline of 0.27%. For its part, the BRVM Composite index gained 0.27% to 150.78 points against 150.37 points previously.
The total value of transactions fell sharply, from 5.875 billion FCFA the day before to 1.823 billion FCFA on Monday. The TOP 5 of the strongest price increases are occupied respectively by the values Unilever Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% to 4,390 FCFA), Palm Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.41% to 4,350 FCFA), Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire Ivoire (plus 7.35% at 1,095 FCFA) Crown SIEM Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.27% at 295 FCFA) and Servair Abidjan (plus 6.77% at 1,025 FCFA).
On the other hand, Flop 5 of the largest price declines is respectively occupied by the following stocks: Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Electricité (minus 5.62% at 1,595 FCFA), SMB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.88% at 6,200 FCFA ), Ivory Coast Water Distribution Company (minus 2.94% to 3,300 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.83% to 1,340 FCFA) and Ivorian Banking Company (minus 1.74% at CFAF 3,100).
