At 7:40 a.m., the yield on the ten-year Treasury note, the market benchmark, stood at 1.533%, compared to 1.561% on Wednesday evening. The auction of $24 billion in long-term U.S. Treasury bonds on Wednesday struggled to boost trade during an overall sluggish session. However, the results of the auction showed that the appetite for sovereign bonds remained high
