The boss of Cim Metal Group, Inoussa Kanazoé has started with force the marketing of cement in Togo. The Lomé plant has a capacity of 25 million tons of cement.

The factory with a capacity of 25 million tons of cement mobilizes an investment of 65 billion FCFA. Its installation marks a step for the import project which benefits from the technology of the German manufacturer Loesche.
The West African Development Bank (BOAD) financed this project to the tune of 25 billion CFA francs. In addition, Inoussa Kanazoé plans to release 110 billion FCFA, 60 billion of which will be devoted to the installation of a new cement plant in Bamako.
The Cim Metal group project comes as Dangote, accused by its competitors Heidelberg and Wacem of undercutting prices on the Togolese market, announced its intention to invest in a cement factory in the country.
