During a webinar organized by the Moroccan Association of Exporters (Asmex) on the theme “Doing Business in Benin”, in partnership with the firm Harvard Consulting, Philippe Cordier, an expert in operational management, individual and collective performance and intercultural risk management, identified business, ecological and leisure tourism as an important field with high potential, particularly in terms of infrastructure needs. hoteliers.
He considers agri-food processing as a promising sector in Benin, where agriculture is the main source of wealth and generates 88% of export earnings. For the energy and hydrocarbons sector, it constitutes an opportunity for investors because of the numerous customs and tax advantages put in place by the government in relation to these areas of activity.
According to Philippe Cordier, exploiting these potentials will help develop trade between Morocco and Benin, which currently amount to 104.7 million dollars in Moroccan exports and 90.6 thousand dollars in Beninese exports.
