The UEMOA Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) organized the 2nd edition of the BRVM Awards last Saturday in Abidjan. The distinctions went to the 12 best players in the regional financial market of the West African Economic Monetary Union (UEMOA), including three special awards and an honorary award

.

The second edition of the BRVM Awards aimed to reward the most deserving market players, listed companies, bond issuers, authorized interveners, institutional investors, SMEs. For the Togolese Edoh Kossi Amenounve, Director General of the BRVM, the BRVM Awards, placed on the theme “sustainable finance”, reward all actors who undeniably contribute to the development,

influence and reputation of the regional market.

For this second edition, eight companies received this award of excellence in various categories, including Sonatel in the category best listed company, Société Générale Capital Securities West Africa, best management and intermediation company (SGI) while the award for the best UCITS management company (SGO) was rafl& eacute; by SOAGA.
The best bond issuer went to the Burkina Faso Treasury, the best BTCC to Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire conservatives, the best SME in the Elite Program to Neurotech SA, the best institutional investor to the IPS Caisse Nationale de Prévoyance Sociale (IPS-CNPS) and the award for the best

financial media awarded to Financial Afrik.

Apart from regional financial market players, special BRVM awards were awarded to the Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, to the Minister of Economy and Finance of Benin, Romuald Wadagni, and to the President of the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (CREPMF), Mamadou Ndiagne.
A posthumous honorary prize was also awarded to the late Hamed Bakayoko, former Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire, who, during his lifetime, accepted the sponsorship of this ceremony. In the coming years, the BRVM intends to become more involved in promoting new products on the regional financial market: Green Bonds, Diaspora Bonds, Social bonds, etc
