Originally from Senegal, Abdou Diop is now working to attract Moroccan investors to sub-Saharan Africa. After spending two thirds of his life in the Cherifian kingdom, he puts his experience to the benefit of his

region. A

noted player in the sub-Saharan expansion of Moroccan groups, the chartered accountant is now working to encourage investments from the North. “Today, I am considered to be the link between Morocco and several West African countries and in particular their private sectors, and I am on good terms with all employers' organizations, whose members trust me. They know that I am working for the balanced win-win partnership that Morocco promotes,” says Abdou Diop.
Abdou Diop contributed to the African expansion of Attijariwafa Bank, pushing the wheel and increasing the number of meetings with Said Raki, appointed by the bank to assess the Senegalese market. He is also behind the partnership between Onee (National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water) and the Senegalese Rural Electrification Agency.
The pan-African claims to have seen a change in the way Moroccans intend to expand in

Africa.
