The “currency war” marking the end of the dominance of the dollar, which authors fear the most, is highlighted by Michel Aglietta and Natacha Valla. To avoid it, they propose to return to the International Monetary Fund the function that its founding fathers, in 1945, assigned to it: to ensure global monetary stability, but this time by using its right to mint currency.
