While production does not seem to be affected by the recent attacks by Yemeni Houthi rebels against a major oil port in Saudi Arabia, oil prices fell slightly on Tuesday morning. At 7:30am, the May North Sea Brent contract lost 2 cents, to $68.22 per barrel, while the April WTI contract lost 14 cents, to $64.91 per barrel. The decision by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to leave production quotas unchanged could signal that the group intends to further reduce its stocks, reports ANZ.
