The Beninese presidency announced on Friday that Benin and Nigeria have decided to set up a dynamic cooperation to exchange and share experiences and expertise in rice production

At the end of exchanges between the Beninese President Patrice Talon and a delegation from the Nigerian Rice Producers Association, visiting Cotonou, a dynamic cooperation to exchange and share experiences and expertise is in perspective for rice production.
“Benin and Nigeria can complement each other, especially in the agricultural and rice fields. This is why we decided to rely on Nigerian experience in developing rice production to meet the needs of our Beninese, Nigerian and even African populations,” said President Talon, quoted in the statement.
