The Regional Fund for Financing Education in Africa (Reffa) has just approved a loan of $3 million for an action geared towards the financing of private education establishments.
 
The loan granted to Fidelis Finance, a financial institution in West Africa, aims to support educational structures in West Africa. Deployed since December 2020, the financing was made public this Wednesday, February 17, 2021. “This investment shows us that through specialized funds like Reffa, we can tackle the issue of education […] Fidelis Finance is a key player in education financing in Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire and we are happy to be able to provide our financial and technical support to the institution", commented Yann Groeger, Regional Director of BlueOrchard Finance. Fidelis plans to fund private education institutes in Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire.
