The Federation of Food Cooperative Societies of Côte d'Ivoire (FENASCOVICI) and MTN are joining forces to digitize the agricultural economy in Côte d'Ivoire.
An agreement was signed to this effect between the two parties on Tuesday, January 12 in Abidjan. This partnership commits the mobile phone company to automate the payment methods of this organization and offer them financial services and adapted telephone offers.
"It's a marriage that is sealed and we will honor our commitment," promised Irié Lou Colette, president of FENASCOVICI. Before calling for a modernization of the food sector in Côte d'Ivoire.
Created in 1998, the FENASCOVICI which brings together actors in the food sector in Côte d'Ivoire and claims about 400,000 members.
