Maize, river rice and cotton are the sectors that lend themselves better to setting up insurance
agriculture in Togo, according to a study carried out by the Barac firm, the main results of which were
communicated yesterday to the actors of the Togolese agricultural world gathered in Lomé.
This report, financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB), aimed to assess the state of
places of the insurance system for the benefit of the Togolese agricultural sector in order to observe the mechanisms
