According to the Commissioner General of the Prize, Amos Beonaho, the aim of the edition was to salute the efforts made by the government and the private sector to ensure that Côte d'Ivoire emerged headlong from the health crisis linked to Covid-19.

Faman Touré is therefore one of those personalities whose leadership was praised by winning the Special Prize for the Promotion of Doing Business (Editor's note). According to the jury, the president of the Chamber of Commerce masterfully managed his institution during the period of the crisis from which we are gradually emerging. Indeed, the Cci-Ci is a consular institution whose main missions is to support businesses. In this respect, it is very active in promoting and defending the interests of the private sector. This is why, under the leadership of its first manager, we saw it provide strong support to businesses during this period of Covid-19. The institution carried out several initiatives, including online training on teleworking for businesses, capacity building workshops for SMEs, and donation transfers for the benefit of the Ministry in charge of Health and Public Hygiene as well as several other structures that needed assistance worth 100 million CFA francs. She also organized visits to companies impacted by the pandemic in Abidjan and in several regions

Faman Touré, who was also co-president of the ceremony, congratulated the organizers of the award and all those involved in business promotion. He was delighted with the quality of the relationship maintained by his institution and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, which chairs the state-private sector consultation committee for the well-being of the business world
