Inetum (ex-Gfi) organizes the Africa Digital Manager Award (ADMA), to reward companies and managers in Africa who lead digitalization projects. A jury of professionals will be responsible for determining the winners in 3 geographical areas: Central Africa, North Africa and West Africa. From December 01, 2020 to April 30, 2021, online application submission is open to all managers of private companies or public administrations at: www.africadigitalmanageraward.com

Present in 6 countries in Africa, Inetum, the new name of the Gfi group, is at the rendezvous of the IT development of companies on the continent, and its desire is to be part of it over the long term. “We are very proud to partner with the prestigious Ecole Centrale de Casablanca to organize this competition. The Africa Digital Manager Award will highlight talents and projects in digital strategies today but also encourage and inspire the initiatives of tomorrow. We believe in Africa, which is a growing continent, digital represents an opportunity for its economy", declares Vincent Rouaix, Chairman and CEO of Inetum.

To compete, participants must submit projects carried out internally or in partnership with third parties (laboratories, universities, subsidiaries or other partners). Candidates can also present a managerial method used to effectively lead one or more projects, based on agility, change management or any other performance measures. It is the character of innovation or managerial excellence that will determine the choice of the best files by the jury.

The ADMA jury will be made up of professionals and personalities from the Ivorian and international digital and entrepreneurial communities, recognized for their skills in various fields, such as:

  • Ismaila Patrick M'BENGUE, Administrator, CGECI (Côte d'Ivoire).
  • Reine ESSOBMADJE, President of the Digital Economy Commission, GICAM (Cameroon).
  • Antoine NGOM, Vice-president of the National Council of Employers, CNP (Senegal)

This competition, carried out in 3 geographical areas (Central Africa, North Africa and West Africa), rewards the winners of each area with registration for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifying program, delivered by the prestigious Ecole Centrale Casablanca ( Morocco). This training will be fully supported by Inetum to allow the 3 winners to follow this course. The companies employing the winning managers will benefit, for their part, from coaching and support from Inetum's consulting experts, on a strategic, managerial, operational or technological issue related to their digital projects.

Inetum supports companies in 26 countries around the world, including 6 in Africa: Morocco, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Angola, Senegal and Cameroon. “Our strength is our desire to be present locally, as a local player.
