The Ministry of Economy and Finance presented Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Lomé, the review of financial management reforms carried out at the end of June 2019 in ministerial departments and state institutions.

The results presented indicate that of the 47 reform measures expected in public finance during the last semester, the country has achieved 80%.

“We programmed during the first six months of the year, 47 reform measures. And of these 47 measures, we have 17 which are 100% carried out, 25 which are in progress and seven (07) which are not yet affected. If we take stock of these results, we are at 80% completion”, suggested Dedji Affoh, Head of Division at the Permanent Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Variations which, according to public finance experts, reveal a "good performance" in the management of state finances.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance recommends the continuation of efforts to update program budgets and revise information systems as well as organizational charts of ministries and institutions.
