“We also talked about the long-term financing of the Togolese economy both for the Togolese State and for the private sector, ensuring that the financial market can support the State and the private sector in financing major development projects”, remarks made by Dr. Edoh Kossi Aménounvé at the end of the meeting.
The Director General of the BRVM also said that they “talked about the development of popular shareholding in Togo, how to ensure that Togolese, within the framework of the social and financial inclusion policy, can participate in the life of Togolese businesses by becoming shareholders and ensure that the wealth created by businesses can also be shared with the populations”.
Mr. Aménounvé left the Prime Minister's Office convinced that the policy of digitizing economic activities decided by the Togolese government in this period of the coronavirus pandemic will be a real asset for economic recovery.
