Five years after its implementation, the national social inclusion policy initiated by the President of the Republic HE Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé is increasingly appreciated by international financial and banking institutions.

This is evidenced by the report of the Central Bank of West African States (Bceao) for the first quarter of 2019 on the situation of the microfinance sector in the Member States of the Economic and Monetary Union West African (Uemoa).

According to this report, Togo recorded over the last year a progression of +16.0% in terms of Decentralized Financial Systems (Sfd).

This remarkable performance places the country in second position in terms of financial inclusion in the Union.

Regarding the outstanding balance of loans from Decentralized Financial Systems (Sfd), Togo ranks first in the Union, with a performance of more than +15.3%.

These important scores achieved by Togo testify to the dynamism of financial inclusion in the country.

These feats also confirm the commitment of the Head of State to make inclusive finance a vector of social development, in accordance with the National Development Plan (NDP).
