Dakar, Nov 20 (APS) — The 6th annual review of UEMOA reforms, policies, programs and community projects in Senegal is scheduled to start on Monday, at the Ndiambour Hotel in Dakar, according to a statement received at APS.

” The UEMOA Commission reviews the integration process in the Member States from November 9 to December 11, 2020. For Senegal, the work will take place from 23 to 27 November next year,” says the same source. She indicates that these meetings will begin with a technical phase devoted in particular to evaluating the effective implementation of more than 116 regulatory texts and 12 community programs and projects for an amount of more than 49 billion CFA francs. According to the press release, “the review carried out in 2019 noted significant progress in transposing and applying community reforms.” The document highlights that the performances recorded by Senegal reveal an average rate of implementation of reforms of 77.9% in 2019, compared to 75.5% in 2018, an increase of more than 2 points. The press release recalls that the annual review of UEMOA was established by an Additional Act of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government (CCEG) since October 2013. Its main objective is to promote the acceleration of the implementation of community reforms, policies, programs and projects within UEMOA as part of deepening regional integration
