DAKAR, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- The African Development Bank (AfDB) will finance two
projects to the tune of 67 billion FCFA, under the terms of two agreements signed Wednesday in Dakar,
know an official source.
The projects focus on the development of water for the development of value chains and on the support
institutional to the mobilization of internal resources and the attractiveness of investments.
The financing agreements were signed by the Senegalese Minister of Economy, Amadou Hott and the
Managing Director of the African Development Bank (AfDB), in charge of operations for Africa
of the West, Marie Laure Akin Olugbade, visiting Senegal.
The Minister welcomed the active portfolio of cooperation between the AfDB and the State of Senegal, made up of 28
operations in the fields of infrastructure, hydraulics, sanitation, social,
rural development and governance, for a total volume of approximately CFAF 808.74 billion.
