Exports of agricultural products from Côte d'Ivoire experienced mixed fortunes over the first seven months of the year.

While international sales of natural rubber jumped by 44%, reaching 625,548 tonnes (t), those of cotton fell by the same or almost the same amount, by 43% to 163,682 t. Coffee exports also plummeted, but not by as much, down 16.2% to 45,863 t.

Cocoa is doing well, but just barely, with volumes of beans exported between October and July almost at the same level as last campaign over the same period. The drop was only 0.2% to 1,498,620 t, while semi-finished cocoa products (butter, powder, chocolate) slipped by 0.02% to 374,501 t.
