Ranked, in 2019, the 1st private university in Côte d'Ivoire by the news magazine Jeune Afrique, HEC Abidjan has more and more listeners on the continent and in the rest of the world, namely in India and the United States.

This Friday, September 18, 7 business executives and managers from Cameroon, Congo, DRC and Djibouti made the trip to the Ivorian capital to validate their bachelor's and professional master's theses and the Master in Business Administration.

“We have received quality training at an acceptable level. This encourages us to go beyond the master's degree,” says Tsaty Ferry, Risk Director at the Congolese Housing Bank. This financial professional successfully presented (with distinction) a thesis on “Management and analysis of financial risks in banks: the case of the BCH”.

The international deployment of HEC Abidjan has been made possible through a presence in Côte d'Ivoire, particularly in Abidjan and San-Pedro and Brazzaville. Its strategic position, on the banks of the Congo River, also allows it to meet the needs of auditors in the DRC and other Central African countries.

To facilitate continuing education, it has, in recent years, launched an e-Learning department. Thanks to its educational platform, a technological innovation in the world of education, this Ivorian university can provide interactive courses online, with professors, in real time.

“It is a great tool offered by a qualified, experienced and available administration and staff,” welcomes Poaty Annaize Léance, manager of the Congolese Liquefied Petroleum Gas Company. She now holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Leadership after defending a thesis on “Social audit at the service of human resource performance: case of GPL S.A.”

“In our desire to train a quality elite for competitive companies, we sent an academic director to Brazzaville to supervise the applicants and help them to have a coherent job, ready to be defended before a jury”, specifies Worokya Traoré, Director of HEC Abidjan in Congo.

“This support focuses on societal problems transformed into research topics in order to be able to offer solutions to society. The results that have been presented to us are satisfactory from both an academic and a professional point of view,” insists Professor Goné Droh, Academic Director of HEC Abidjan and President of the Defence Jury.

In its drive to conquer Africa and the world, HEC intends to strengthen the system already in place and to establish itself in addition to Côte d'Ivoire and Congo, in other countries, particularly in the subregion.
