At the end of the trading session of December 15, 2022, the market capitalization of the shares of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) has again exceeded the threshold of 6,000 billion.

The market capitalization increased from 5922.391 billion FCFA the day before to 6,001 billion FCFA on December 15, 2022 .This gives an increase of 78.609 billion FCFA. This improvement is caused by the strong progression of the indices.

Indeed, the BRVM 10 index (index of the 10 flagship stocks of the Stock Exchange) gained 1.34% to 163.40 points against 161.24 points the day before while the BRVM Composite index (general index of the Stock Exchange), recorded a rise of 1.34% to 163.40 points against 196.76 points the day before.

As for the capitalization of the bond market, it recorded an increase of 127.35 billion to 8908.876 billion CFA francs against 8781.526 billion CFA francs the day before. The total value of transactions fell to 435.484 million CFA francs from 1.084 billion CFA francs.


The Flop 5 of the strongest price decreases is occupied respectively by the securities Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.50% to 5,735 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.36% at 1,070 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.83% at 1,130 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.07% at 1,295 FCFA) and Oragroup Togo (minus 2.65% at 3,495 FCFA). For its part, the TOP 5 of the strongest price increases are occupied respectively by Onatel Burkina Faso (up 7.47% to 3,595 FCFA), NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire(up 7.45% to 5,695 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (up 6.06% to 2,100 FCFA), BOA Niger (up 4.69% to 6,695 FCFA) and Coris Bank International Burkina Faso (up 3.45% to 8,690 FCFA).
