Following a simultaneous issue by auction of assimilable treasury bonds (OAT) with a duration of 3 years and 5 years, the Ivorian State received on March 22, 2022 an amount of 38.5 billion FCFA (57.750 million euros) on the WAEMU financial market.

The issuer auctioned 35 billion FCFA, UMOA-Titres, organizer of the operation, identified 100.697 billion FCFA in overall bids made by investors, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount auctioned of 287, 71%. On the amount of the bids, the issuer retained 38.5 billion FCFA and rejected the 62.197 billion FCF. This gives an absorption rate of 38.23%. Investors whose submissions are successful will end up with a weighted average return of 4.4300%.

The redemption of the 3-year OATs will be made on the first business day following the maturity date set at March 23, 2025. On the other hand, the payment of interest will be made annually on the basis of an announced fixed interest rate of 5. 00% from the end of the first year. As for 5-year OATs, they will be redeemed on the first business day following the maturity date set at March 23, 2027.
