The World Bank published Thursday, March 10 a new report on the economic development of Côte d'Ivoire. Entitled "Maintaining the momentum of growth, economic memorandum of Côte d'Ivoire (Cem)", the document calls for an improvement in productivity.

The World Bank report underlines that Côte d'Ivoire is again on a dynamic of strong growth. The country could maintain this growth in the medium and long term if it improves its agricultural productivity, its competition policy and strengthens its regulatory framework to make them more favorable to the development of the private sector.

This second Cem, places the improvement of the productivity of the key sectors of the Ivorian economy at the center of the future growth strategy of Côte d'Ivoire. This, through the establishment of an adequate competition policy and regulatory framework guaranteeing the proper functioning of the markets.
