Côte d'Ivoire received on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 a sum of 60 billion FCFA following a simultaneous operation by auction of assimilable treasury bonds (BAT) with a duration of 182 days and 364 days.

The Ivorian State collected at the level of the WAEMU financial market the sum of 60 billion FCFA. The issuer had auctioned a total amount of 60 billion FCFA. In response, investors offered him global bids of 79.695 billion FCFA. This gives a rate of coverage of the amount auctioned of 132.83%. Investors whose bids are accepted by the Ivorian Public Treasury will end up with a weighted average return of 2.39% for BAT of 182 days and 2.74% for BAT of 364 days. The accepted bids amount to 60 billion FCFA, corresponding exactly to the amount requested and those rejected to 19.695 billion FCFA. This gives a high absorption rate of 75.29%.
