The weekend was marked by a sharp increase of almost 4% in the indices of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM). The value of transactions is, for its part, on the rise, by several billion CFA francs.

The BRVM 10 index recorded a strong increase of 3.79%. The gain of this index goes from 162.39 points the day before to 168.55 points at the end of the trading session on Friday February 25, 2022. As for the BRVM composite index, it also gained 1.95% to 217 .13 points against 212.98 points previously. The market capitalization of the equity market recorded an increase of 124.901 billion, to 6536.075 billion FCFA against 6411.174 billion FCFA the day before. Regarding the bond market, it experienced a drop of 2.813 billion FCFA, from 7500.157 billion FCFA on Thursday February 24, 2022 to 7497.344 billion FCFA this Friday February 25, 2022. The value of transactions is, from its side, up, standing at 6.260 billion FCFA against 1.418 billion FCFA the day before.
