At the end of its issue of assimilable treasury bonds (OAT), the State of Senegal raised on Friday, February 25, 2022 an amount of 55 billion FCFA at the level of the WAEMU financial market.

Senegal's General Directorate of Treasury and Public Accounts received CFAF 55 billion through an issue of Treasury Bonds (OAT). The operation, which was organized by UMOA-Titres, has a duration of 15 years. Investors have responded favorably to requests from the State of Senegal. The rate of coverage of the amount auctioned is 159.73%. After adjudication, the bids accepted by the General Directorate of Treasury and Public Accounting amounted to 55 billion FCFA and those rejected to 24.864 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 68.67%.
