The year 2021 has been a game-changer for crypto-asset shops, with more and more of them launching ETFs invested directly or indirectly in bitcoin and its derivatives. By chaining valuation records - but also brutal setbacks - bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have emerged from the circle of geeks and informed stockbrokers to impose themselves in the public debate and find a place for themselves in asset management. However, the so-called "crypto" funds still weigh very little on the scale of the 100,000 billion dollars in assets of global asset management (at the end of 2020).
