A document from the executive presented Thursday in Cotonou to all executives of ministries, directorates and agencies. Thus, the Beninese government expects an average growth rate of 8.3% following the implementation of its 2021-2026 action program.

The new five-year action program is fundamentally based on three pillars: the entrenchment of democracy, the rule of law and good governance; increasing the productivity and competitiveness of the Beninese economy and, finally, accelerating the population's access to basic social services and social protection. Its purpose is to accelerate the economic and social development of the country. PAG2 is made up of 342 development projects for a cumulative amount of 12,011 billion CFA francs. The government has already mobilized 3.431 billion FCFA ($5.9 billion) and is currently seeking 8.580 billion FCFA ($14.7 billion).
