The first Council of Ministers of the year 2022 enshrined the adoption of several decrees and oral communications. The government meeting was held yesterday Wednesday, January 5, under the chairmanship of the Head of State, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré.

3,280 establishments were closed throughout the national territory due to insecurity. Thus, the Council of Ministers addressed the issue of the fight against insecurity through a communication delivered by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Security on a mission he carried out in Turkey. A mission whose objective, according to the government spokesperson, was to examine the means of diversifying cooperation between the two countries in terms of security. Pr Alkassoum Maïga assured that the prospects are interesting.

In addition to oral communications, draft decrees were examined during this council of ministers. These include a decree on the procedures for implementing internal control at the level of development projects and programs. In addition to this decree, another fixing the conditions of remuneration of the agents of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) was adopted.
