The two gendarmes heard by the Criminal Investigations Division (DIC) in the context of the incredible affair of the trafficking of diplomatic passports were referred to the prosecution.

According to Liberation, the pandora Assane Ndione, in service at the Diplomatic Passports Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, facilitated the enrollment and withdrawal of documents after they had been prepared. Chief Warrant Officer Ousseynou Bâ, in service at the Presidency, slipped the requests into the aide-de-camp's letter which was to be submitted for approval to the President of the Republic, Macky Sall.
