Only a few weeks after the verdict handed down by the Constitutional Court, the CEO of Africom Commodities, Christo Grobler broke his silence. He made disturbing revelations about the case of embezzlement of funds allocated to the materialization of the project called "Bukanga Lonzo agro-industrial park".

On a set of the Congo Buzz TV YouTube channel, answering questions from journalists Christian Bosembe and Floride Zantonto, and assisted by his collaborator-interpreter, Christo Grobler affirmed that the bankruptcy of the Bukanga Lonzo agro-industrial park project is following the non-continuity of compliance with the financial commitment of the Congolese State, the main shareholder of the project. He explained that the company Africom Commodities initially wanted to establish itself in the DRC, by creating a factory for the manufacture of fertilizers and fertilizers for the benefit of the country. He revealed that the Congolese authorities had approached them in order to join their project and compose the caste of shareholders of the factory.

Christo Grobler will declare that approximately 30 million USD would have supported the purchases and maintenance of all the equipment, while nearly 10 million USD would have covered the various charges of his staff chartered at the end of the project, even associating those who had been posted by the Congolese State itself. However, until February 2016, according to the prescriptions of the contract, the Africom company fulfilled, he insists, all its commitments while tangible and financial actions, on the side of the Congolese State, did not no longer followed.
