From December 07 to 09, 2021, in collaboration with African governments, the Government of Japan through its Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is organizing the 2nd edition of the Japan-Africa Public Private Economic Forum in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya.

In its 2nd edition, the Japan-Africa Public-Private Economic Forum will bring together high-level officials from the public and private sectors of Japan and Africa, with the aim of promoting cooperation between them in areas such as trade and development. investment, infrastructure and energy. It will shed light on the challenges around private sector-led economic growth and showcase successful and innovative examples to explore the way forward. The forum will provide an opportunity for Japanese companies and their African counterparts as well as key national business institutions to showcase their work in Africa.
