The cryptocurrency exchange platform, Busha announced, on November 23, the success of a funding round of 4.2 million dollars. At the end of this operation, Busha wants to expand to other African countries.

Despite the various measures against the sector, Nigerian cryptocurrency exchanges continue to attract investors. With over 200,000 registered users, Busha wants to sustain its growth in Nigeria and expand to Ghana, Kenya and French-speaking countries in West Africa. The platform also wants to develop its services with the introduction, from December, of a "savings" function that will allow users to receive interest on their cryptocurrencies. Note that the fundraising operation was led by the venture capital company Jump Capital which, according to Forbes, wants to devote 40% of the funds raised ($350 million) to the digital currency market.
