To facilitate the payment of taxes and royalties in Benin, the General Directorate of the Public Treasury launched on Monday, November 15, 2021 a payment platform available online.

Since Monday, November 15, it is possible to pay rights, taxes and royalties to the public treasury via the site: www.tresorbenin.bj on the eQuittance portal ( https://equittancetresor.finances.bj:9051/ ). It was the Director General of the Public Treasury Karimou Assouma who provided the information to taxpayers in a press release published on the official page of the Ministry of Economy and Finance on November 13. The service available on this platform, "allows all taxpayers or customers to pay via Mobile Money (MoMo from MTN and Flooz from MOOV), these duties, taxes and fees for the benefit of the State budget or to make deposits of funds in accounts domiciled in the books of the Public Treasury”. The transaction fee is only 1% of the nominal amount of the deposit.
