The work of the 7th annual review of community reforms, policies, programs and projects within WAEMU implemented by Benin was launched on Monday, November 08, 2021 by Hermann Orou Takou, Director of Cabinet of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, representing Minister of State Romuald Wadagni.

During this review, experts from the UEMOA Commission will examine the political reforms, programs and community projects implemented by Benin. The annual review of community reforms, policies, programs and projects within WAEMU, placed under the chairmanship of the Prime Ministers or Heads of Government, and under the supervision of the Ministers in charge of Finance, was instituted by Additional Act of the Conference of Heads of State and Government (CCEG) of October 24, 2013. Its main objective is to promote the acceleration of the application of reforms, policies, programs and community projects within the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) within the framework of the deepening of regional integration.
