The Ivorian Lassina Fofana Managing Director of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations de Côte d'Ivoire (CDC-CI) now chairs the Forum des Caisses de Dépôt. It was chosen as part of the 6th edition of the Forum des Caisses de Dépôt which took place on October 27 in Libreville, capital of Gabon.

Lassina Fofana succeeds Patricia Danielle Manon, Managing Director of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations du Gabon. He will preside over the reins of the Forum des Caisses de Dépôt until 2023. The mission of the "Forum des Caisses de Dépôt" is to highlight and disseminate the "Caisse de Dépôt" model by promoting its role in mobilizing savings, its ability to support public policies and its status as a catalyst for long-term, sustainable and productive investment. The Caisses de dépôt play a pivotal role in supporting public policies and intervene mainly in the sectors that need it the most, in the service of the sustainable economic and social development of the countries to which they belong.
