Côte d'Ivoire will acquire Raxio's first data center in West Africa. The Raxio group said it has invested in the first operator-neutral Tier III data center in Côte d'Ivoire, which should be commissioned in 2023.

This first Raxio data center in West Africa is called “Raxio Abidjan”. The infrastructure will be the fifth data center in Raxio's portfolio of installations in Africa, and the first in West Africa. It will be developed at the Innovation and Technology Village, a special economic zone in Grand-Bassam dedicated to technological innovation located approximately 30 kilometers from downtown Abidjan. Raxio Abidjan will serve clients in Abidjan and the wider West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) region in a wide range of sectors. The data center is being developed in conjunction with data center solutions company Master Power Technologies.
