After touching $1.1524 in the middle of the month, its lowest since July 2020, the European currency has recovered and is up 0.5% over 30 days. The euro fell against the US dollar after climbing the day before in the wake of a meeting of the European Central Bank (ECB) and a disappointing economic indicator in the United States. Around 9:20 a.m. GMT (11:20 a.m. CET), the euro fell 0.28% to 1.1648 dollars. The recovery of the US economy is showing signs of weakness: GDP growth slowed sharply in the third quarter, to 2% from 6.7% in the third quarter.
