A new agreement in sight for a third C2D of 1.145 billion euros to strengthen cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and France. This file has been under discussion for several months.

The Ivorian government must conclude an agreement with France over the coming days for a third debt relief and development (C2D) contract, worth 1.145 billion dollars and covering the period 2021-2025. With this new envelope, Paris and Abidjan are strengthening their cooperation by focusing on transport and education. The case was closed by Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, who dined together on October 12 at the Élysée in Paris.
