Gross budget revenue stood at the end of June 2021 at CFAF 677.84 million. We thus note an increase in revenue of 17.8% at June 30.

In the first half of 2021, government revenue increased, reaching 50.2% of the annual forecast. At the end of June 2021, gross budget revenue stood at CFAF 677.84 million out of an annual forecast of CFAF 1,349.914 billion, i.e. a recovery rate of 50.2%, according to the last execution report of the State budget (Rapex) published at the end of September. Compared to the same period in 2020, they experienced an increase of FCfa 102.432 billion, corresponding to an increase of 17.8%, despite the context of the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic which is slowing down economic activities. This result testifies to the resilience of the national economy in the face of the adverse effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Budgetary expenditure was estimated at CFAF 920.04 billion at the end of June on the basis of commitments, an increase of CFAF 150.259 billion compared to the amount consumed during the same period in 2020. This corresponds to a rate of 51. 7% of the annual forecasts amounting to 1780.229 billion CFA francs.
