The Dollar has not only gained ground against the Euro. The greenback strengthened against all currencies (+0.2%).

The Dollar is very robust against the Yen and the Swiss Franc with +0.3% at 113.65 and 0.9310 respectively. The Pound Sterling resists the best with -0.1%... despite a sharp drop in yield (-3.5Pts compared to T-Bonds (-1Base Pt). The Dollar Index ends up +0.2 % towards 94.55 No notable movement on the Forex side with the Euro consolidating at the margin (-0.2%) towards 1.15350/$ It may have been weakened a little by the economic forecasts of the institute ZEW which fell by -4.2 points to reach a new level of 22.3 points, the fifth consecutive drop.But the Euro was also able to benefit from the rise in the yield of the Bunds which tends from +2Pts towards -0, 1030%.
