The Development Cooperation Report (RCD), recently published by the Ministry of Finance, Economy and Development, shows a 38.3% increase in official development assistance in 2020.

The RCD Report is an information document on official development assistance, technical and financial partners and cooperation activities carried out over the course of a year in Burkina Faso. According to this document, the analysis of aid flows and the amount of disbursements under Official Development Assistance (ODA) for the benefit of Burkina Faso stands at 2,142 million US dollars, or approximately 1,253 billion FCFA. during the year 2020. This represents an increase of 38.3%. In terms of type of assistance, there is a preponderance of project aid (67.8%) compared to other instruments, namely budget support (26.9%), emergency assistance and relief (5%) and food 0.3%.
