These loan agreements, worth around 86 billion CFA francs, are intended to finance two development projects, in particular the community and nutritional health project and the Cotonou rainwater sanitation project (PAPC
).The agreements for these two loan agreements were signed between the Minister of State of Benin, in charge of Economy and Finance, Romuald Wadagni and the President of the IDB Group, Muhammed Sulaiman- Al Jaber. Indeed, the first project, entitled: “Bridging the gaps: community health, human resources and nutrition” aims to improve the provision of health services in order to achieve universal health coverage for the population by 2025. This project aims to make health services permanently accessible to the entire population through the strengthening of the community health system, quality health human resources and nutrition services. The second project, relating to support the rainwater sanitation programme in the city of Cotonou (PAPC), consists of the construction of 13 kilometres of drainage collectors in all sections in the four watersheds of the city of Cotonou. This work will contribute to improving the quality of life of inhabitants of several disadvantaged neighborhoods
