The Special Cybersecurity Division (Dsc) have dismantled a network of counterfeit money traffickers in Mixta City according to exclusive information from Seneweb. More than 20 million FCFA in counterfeit notes were found on counterfeiters

Commissioner Aly Kandé's men have once again struck at the heart of a highly organized mafia. Exploiting information concerning a gang active in putting non-authentic bank notes into circulation, the members of the Research and Investigation Group (Gri) of this service surprised two counterfeiters in an apartment in this locality. Caught in the bag, Mr. Diouf, claiming to be a mobile phone seller and his acolyte Mr. Ndiaye calling himself a trader, were taken to the premises of the Special Cybercrime Division for the purposes of the investigation. Thus, the police raid on the Mixta City resulted in the seizure of 2,500,000 (two million five hundred thousand) in counterfeit bank notes and 07 mobile phones. According to authorized Seneweb sources, these counterfeiters are currently in custody for criminal association, forgery, possession and circulation of currencies that are legal tender in the national territory
